Teach Dance at Solar Fusion!

There are 3 options for teaching dance lessons at Solar.

Be a guest instructor for our 8:30pm group lesson.
Schedule your own full-length private lessons, utilizing Luna del Soul's floor space
Offer 15 minute mini private lessons to Solar Fusion attendees

Since these lessons will be taking place at a dance, there's a built-in opportunity for immediate practicing of the concepts being worked on! Reach out to the Solar team if you're interested in any of these options.

Guest Instructor

We plan to rotate among our own instructor and welcoming guest teachers to lead the 8:30pm lesson!

Private Lessons

Luna del Soul has an established policy for renting floor space to dancers for practice and private lessons. The medium studio will be available between 9:30pm and 12am for holding your own private lessons.

The floor fee is $20 for a 1 hour private lesson. Payment and scheduling is directly through the studio, we can help put you in contact with them to arrange floor time.

This could work well for teachers without a good space of your own for teaching, or who want an accessible space to work with students based in the Peninsula and South Bay.

15-Minute Mini-Privates

We are also experimenting with a format of offering 15-minute long mini private lessons. This can be a great way for dancers to try out what a private lesson can feel like, or what working with a particular teacher is like, before committing to doing a full lesson. Or for anyone who just wants some quick pointers or refinements on their dancing!

You can choose your availability window during our event hours, and dancers can sign up for their 15-minute slot when they arrive for the night (or sign-ups can be done digitally ahead of time).

For clarity and consistency, we ask that the 15min lessons be a $20 charge, paid directly to the teacher.
